3 miles and arms and shoulders

Today I ran 3 miles (in the afternoon) and did some shoulders and arm exercises. My arms are a bit sore now but I feel overall really pretty good and proud of myself for working out in the afternoon.

Felt good a bit tired but made it through.

3 miles intervals and back and biceps

Today I ran 2 miles at 9:13 pace (6.5 mph) in intervals of .4 miles with breaks to do p90x back and biceps.

I then walked 1 mile at the end.

Today I ran 7.13 miles in 1:12 an average pace of 10:07. FAST for me! Yippie! I also didn't take any water and didn't stop for drinks. Felt good the whole time.

2.5 miles intervals and chest/tri/shoulder

I ran 2.5 miles of intervals
5 x 30 seconds at 7 mph, 30 second recovery
5 x 45 seconds at 7 mph, 45 second recovery
5 x 60 seconds at 7 mph, 60 second recovery

Total time 20 minutes, plus 5 min warm up and 5 minute cool down.

Also did p90x shoulders, chest and and triceps.

p90x legs and back and 3 miles

Today I did p90x legs and back and p90x ab ripper. Went way better doing it before a run I was not as fatigued.

I also did 3 miles- 5 min warm up, 2 miles at 3.5 at 10% incline, 1 min recovery, 1 min at 6.5 mph, 1 min recovery, repeat for 45 minutes total.

Walking at the incline was challenging.

Long run

Today I ran 9.3 miles in 1 hour 37 minutes.... 10:23 pace. FAST for me! Felt Great!! Lots of head wind for about 1/2 of the run.

I also walked 2.5 miles in the afternoon.

I did chest/shoulders/tri p90x dvd followed by a 8 mile bike ride ((47 minutes)

Felt good, bike ride was hard since I haven't really biked in forever!

I ran 2.5 miles is 27 minutes today and did p90x back and biceps. Ouch my arms hurt! Did most of the exercises with 15# weights. Tomorrow is going to be a complete rest day.

Monday, Monday

Today I did chest, shoulders and triceps p90x dvd. Ah, I hate this one! (Probably because it is so hard!) Anyway I did it and also did p90x ab ripper x.

I was going to run tonight but was too tired/unmotivated. Oh well!

Last week's totals and this week's plan

So I am thinking since I am not going to be working this summer we need to save some money. I am now going to probably not run the half in May and just plan on running the half or full marathon in Billings in September. Maybe I will do the Missoula half in July as well, we'll see what time it is and if I can fit it in without having to stay in a hotel. We'll see... Onward...

This week I ran 20.75 miles.

This coming week my plan is to run 25 miles

Monday and Wednesday I want to do doubles, a run/ workout in the morning and a run/ workout in the evening. Hoping I can do it, I want to get used to doing two workouts a day.

Monday-Chest/ back am, 2-3 miles pm
Tuesday- 3-4 miles long hills
Wednesday- 5 miles am, 2-3 miles pm
Thursday-4 miles or shoulders and arms
Friday- 8 miles or arms and shoulders
Saturday-8 miles or legs and back
Sunday-legs and back or 2-3 miles run

I am not sure about when I will do my long run as I may be doing a seminar on Saturday, however, may not go since I am quitting. I will know by Wednesday, hopefully.

Saturday: 6.5 mile run.. actually ran 5 miles walked 1.5 because I had to go #2 and it was really hurting. Got to finally run outside in the sun which was very nice!

Today I ran 5 miles in 55 minutes (10:50 pace). I feel like either I am getting slower or I am just tired. I just don't have the times I was getting before my injury. Oh well, not complaining, just commenting. Hopefully it will get better.
